Product description

An electric guitar is a guitar that requires external amplification in order to be heard at typical performance volumes, unlike a standard acoustic guitar. It uses one or more pickups to convert the vibration of its strings into electrical signals, which ultimately are reproduced as sound by loudspeakers.

Benefits of Electric Guitars

Unlike acoustic guitars, electric guitars allow users to have greater control over their volume and tone. Electric guitars are equipped with a variety of knobs and/or switches that control their volume and tone

Material of Electric Guitars

Mahogany

Mahogany is one of the best woods for an electric guitar body, as it is very resilient and resistant to possible damage.

ASH

Ash is popularly referred to as the wood for the classic 1950s Fender guitars, and it is best used in the form of swamp ash.

Maple

Maple is a popular tonewood commonly used to create electric guitar bodies, necks, and fingerboards. Most of this type of wood comes from the US or Canada

Alder

Alder is a popular body wood that's been a mainstay of bolt-on solid guitars since the 1960s.

Rosewood

Rosewood is very expensive and rare and is often used in fretboards.

Ebony

The ebony fretboard does its bit to bring better clarity, more tightness, as well as a better definition, as compared to when the mahogany is combined.

Poplar

Poplar is similar to Alder in sound although not as attractive looking, making it better for solid color finishes.

productcate-368-372

Can be used for a long time

For one, a good price-performance ratio ensures that you get an electric guitar that will perform well and last a long time. You don't want to invest in a cheap guitar that will fall apart or have poor sound quality. It's important to find a guitar that you can rely on for years to come.

Save money

Another reason to choose an electric guitar with a good price-performance ratio is that it can save you money in the long run. Cheap guitars may seem like a good deal initially, but they often require repairs or upgrades that cost you more money over time. By investing in a quality guitar from the start, you can avoid these extra expenses and get the most out of your investment.

Components of Electric Guitar

The electric guitar is an instrument that uses the principle of electromagnetic induction to produce sound. It includes many components such as strings, pickups, amplifiers, volume and tone controls, etc. Each component and its working principle will be introduced in detail below.

string

The sound of an electric guitar is produced by the vibration of the strings.

Pickup

The pickup is one of the key components of the electric guitar, which is responsible for converting the vibrations of the strings into electrical signals.

Amplifier

An amplifier is an essential piece of equipment for electric guitars that amplifies the weak signal produced by the pickup so that it can be heard.

Volume and tone control

The volume control adjusts the volume of the output sound, while the tone control changes the pitch of the sound. It usually consists of a knob or toggle switch.

Application of Electric Guitar

It has evolved into an instrument that is capable of a multitude of sounds and styles in genres ranging.

Play instrumental music

Electric guitar plays an important role in various musical performances. From rock to jazz, from pop to heavy metal, the electric guitar can find its place.

How to maintain electric guitar

The first step in maintaining your instrument is to carefully wipe dirt and sweat from it with a cloth. For a guitar, this means carefully wiping the body, strings (which easily rust due to sweat and the like), and fingerboard (which tends to get dirty).

The second step is to replace the strings regularly. Although the strings can continue to be used as long as they are not broken, old strings tend to lose pitch stability and the sound becomes dull. You should change your strings frequently, at least every six months, or if possible, once a month.

FAQ

Q: 1. What are 3 facts about the electric guitar?

A: Electric guitars are products of the 20th century and the wide expansion of electro-magnetic inventions.
The first electric guitars were introduced in the 1930s. ...
BB King changed the landscape of modern rock music with his incredible guitar-playing style in 1949.

Q: 2. What is special about the tric guitars?

A: Electric guitars offer features that are not found in acoustic instruments, including the capability of being plugged into an amplifier via an onboard input jack. Plugging into amplified allows you to fine-tune your tone and adjust your volume using knobs.

Q: 3. Do electric guitars need power?

A: Because they require an external power source, many people assume that electric guitars must be plugged into an amplifier to make sound. However, this is not strictly true. While plugging into an amplifier will result in a louder and richer sound, electric guitars can also be played without an amplifier.

Q: 4. Can I leave the electric guitar without strings?

A: It won't hurt your instrument to leave it without strings. Something like a solid-body electric guitar with a truss rod should be stable.

Q: 5. Does an electric guitar need speakers?

A: Yes, guitar amplifiers require speakers to produce sound. Some amplifiers have built-in speakers, while others need an external speaker cabinet. The choice depends on your specific requirements and budget.

Q: 6. Do electric guitars need an amp?

A: If you want to make your electric guitar sound like an electric guitar, then having a good amp is about as important as the instrument itself. It's the amp that takes your clean guitar signal and changes it into the treble-heavy, compressed, and saturated sound that we all know and love.

Q: 7. Can I play electric guitar with headphones?

A: You can and there are many options. Some guitar amps have a headphone jack built-in. You can also use a small multiple effects unit as these usually have a headphone output. If the size is 1/4 inch (the size of the guitar cable) you can purchase adapters that will change it to the same size as a smartphone (3.5mm)

Q: 8. Can you play an electric guitar without a strap?

A: Always use a guitar strap when in a seated position, so that your hands and arms are completely free when you're playing. A sliding guitar costs strength and accuracy. Place the guitar on your left leg to allow your playing hand to move to all positions. Ideally, raise the leg on which the guitar is resting.

Q: 9. Do electric guitars need pickups?

A: Yes, although a solid-body electric guitar would not make much sound without pickups or electronics, it would make some sound.

Q: 10. Do electric guitars come with cables?

A: Electric guitars do not generally come with a cable. If they do it is usually purchased as part of a package for beginners that may include a strap, cable, tuning peg winder, and maybe a cheap amplifier. If this is the case all of these items(including the guitar) will be low quality.

Q: 11. Are electric guitars loud?

A: Solid-body electric guitars make very little sound without amplification - in a quiet room you could play for yourself, but it would be unsatisfying.

Q: 12. Is it OK to learn electric guitar first?

A: One major advantage of having a first guitar as an electric one is the ease of playability, thanks to the thinner neck and lower action on the fretboard. This makes it easier for beginners to master techniques like bar chords and string bending.

Q: 13. Can drywall hold an electric guitar?

A: Yes, but it would be best to screw the hanger into a stud. The second best would be to use a drywall anchor. You CANNOT screw the anchor directly into drywall, a guitar would be far too heavy for wallboard alone.

Q: 14. Can an electric guitar be played like an acoustic?

A: You can play an electric in much the same way you play an acoustic. However, they do differ in some key areas. Weight. Electric guitars tend to be denser and in many cases heavier than acoustics despite their smaller size and thickness

Q: 15. How do electric guitars work without a cord?

A: Coils and magnets can be used to convert sound to electricity, even without electrical power. This works because an electric current flows through the coil when a magnetic body is moved over the magnet and coil. In an electric guitar, the steel strings act as magnetic bodies.

Q: 16. What not to do with an electric guitar?

A: DON'T Expose It to Extreme Temperature and Humidity Change. ...
DON'T Clean With Water. ...
DON'T Use Soap, Furniture Polish or Window Cleaner. ...
DON'T Wipe It With Paper Towel or Tissue. ...
DON'T Use Compressed Air to Dust the Guitar.

Q: 17. How long will an electric guitar last?

A: If conditions like the temperature of your environment, humidity, and normal wear and tear are in favor of your instrument's requirements, your guitar may last an average of 12 years without tone deterioration. You could still play the guitar but it'll be crappy.

Q: 18. Is it OK to leave strings off a guitar?

A: It's probably fine but also depends a bit on the guitar. If you have an entry-level acoustic with a not-so-great truss rod, the neck could bow backward a bit, especially if it's used to heavier strings. Most medium to high quality guitars have pretty sturdy rods and it won't affect them much.

Q: 19. Can you play any type of music on an electric guitar?

A: Yes. However, if you want the sound, too, I would look into buying some pedals. If you're playing classic rock, you'll need an overdrive pedal. If you're playing some edgy alternative or punk rock, you'll want a distortion pedal.

Q: 20. Can you deliver as soon as possible?

A: We have enough productivity to ensure timely delivery to customers.
